The employee has struggled with periodontal disease for years but lacked the funds for proper dental care. Although she has dental coverage through Ecolab, it only covers preventive cleanings and provides limited support for major dental work (a $1,000 maximum). Thanks to the Ida Koran Fund, a portion of the cost for her dental implants was covered, and she was able to pay the remaining balance.
