Medical Assistance – Brazil

An employee had a dental abnormality that made it increasingly hard to chew, swallow and speak. He had received treatment which included tooth extraction and braces. The final step in the corrective process was to have surgery to realign his jaw. There is no dental insurance support in his country. The Ida C. Koran Trust provided financial assistance which enabled him to proceed with the surgery.
